What to expect when you visit 2nd Chance
Your First Visit
What can you expect to see and experience when you visit 2nd Chance? Inspired messages, in a comfortable environment. We want to make you feel as welcome as possible.
A Typical Service
Services begin with prayer, Bible reading and the reciting of our Affirmation of Faith. This is followed by a worship song and announcements to let you know what is happening at 2nd Chance. After another song or two, Pastor Anderson (or a guest speaker) will give a message designed to help you apply biblical principles to everyday life. This message will be about 30-40 minutes in length. An offering is then received at the end of the service we all join hands and receive praise reports from those who wish to testify about the goodness of the Lord. This is followed by special prayer requests from those who desire it. You are welcome to talk to or pray with our pastor after the service.
How to Dress
We invite you to dress casually and comfortably. You’ll fit right in. After all, the Bible tells us that God is more concerned with our hearts than He is with how we dress or look (1 Samuel 16:7).
Children’s Church
When Pastor Anderson is ready to bring the Word, children 3 to 13 years of age go to the fellowship room for their Spiritual lesson. The children return to the service for the closing prayer.
Logistics
Park in the church parking lot or on the street in front or to the side of the church. Please let us know you are a visitor so we can welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable. As a first time visitor, you are sure to have questions, so please ask and we will gladly get you the appropriate answer.
