Our Beliefs and Values
We believe that:
We value:
- the Bible is the inspired Word of God,
- there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit,
- the rapture of the church will occur at Christ’s return,
- the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance: faith in the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and Baptism by water,
- regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for Personal Salvation,
- baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to those that ask for it according to Acts 2:4,
- Christians are able to live a Holy and Separated life in this present world,
- Salvation is a free gift of God which cannot be earned by the good things we do,
- the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to belief in prayer,
- prayer, fasting and Bible Study are essential for Spiritual maturity,
- the Ordinances of the Church, The Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism, are an integral
part of Christian life, - The fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit should emulate from us.
We value:
- God’s Word – We value the word of God and the message, healing and growth that it brings.
- God’s People – We value mankind because God has made us in His own image and likeness. Also because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said, “a new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another…By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples…” St. John 13:34-35
- Worship – We value the gathering of people in Christ-centered worship. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” Hebrews 10:25
- Unity – We value the diversity of man and the unified body of Christ.
- Christian Education and Spiritual Growth – We value the education of all believers and we recognize that spiritual growth must take place through study and application of God’s Word.
- Outreach – We value service to others and reaching out to all groups and ages through the gospel of Christ.
- Family – We value family and the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. The Christian family should be the example of the family of God.
